As we all known, crushing can be divided into coarse and fine crushing according to the final size in sand making plant or stone crushing plant. Today we will talk about the choose of secondary crusher.

1.Impact crusher as the secondary crusher.

It is suits for soft material, such as limestone. Crushing is easier because of little hardness. It’s the best choice for the customer who has high requirement of the final size. The feeding size is about 0-300mm, the cost is low.

Impact crusher can not be the primary crusher in sand making plant or stone crushing plant, it follow ups the jaw crusher, this suits the principle of more crushing less grinding，this can make impact crusher plays an important role.

2.Cone crusher as the secondary crusher.

As the higher requirements of final size, we can choose hydraulic cone crusher as the third crusher, so some customers who has high requirements of final size can choose cone crusher as secondary crusher. It suits hardness stone, such as granite, basalt, iron stone and so on. Cone crusher spare parts can used for a long time and the cost is low.

3.Jaw crusher as the secondary crusher.

It is suits for hard stone, the special advantage is that low operate cost, however generally speaking, jaw crusher often used in primary crusher.

4.Sand making machine as the secondary crusher.

This belongs to fine crushing, it suits for small feeding size.
