Impact crusher can also be called impact breaker which has material selective crushing ability during the impacting process, so that there are higher content of cubic products in the final products compared with other types of crushing machines, and at the same time, this crushing equipment has big crushing ratio and simplifies the crushing process, for this reason, it witnesses a rapid growth and is widely used in many relevant industries.
The impact crusher parts mainly consist of machine body, impacting plate, plate hammer, and support and lining board.
(1)The machine body is composed by upper box, lower box, back upper cover, left side wall and right side wall which are connected to be an integrated part with bolts.
(2) The rotor is mainly composed of rotor rack, principal axis, turntable, plate hammer and plate hammer clamp device.

The impact crushing work index mainly includes rotor speed and productivity.
The calculation formula of impact crusher rotor speed is n=60v/πD, in which v refers to the linear speed of the rotor (m/s) and D refers to the diameter of the rotor (m).
The impact crusher rotor speed is determined by the linear speed needed by the plate hammer. And the linear speed of the plate hammer is closely related to the property of the materials, granularity, crushing ratio, machine structure and abrasion of the plate hammer. Generally speaking, the linear speed of the rotor in coarse crushing is 15~40m/s and in fine crushing is 40~70m/s. As a matter of experience, when crushing limestone, the suitable linear speed of the plate hammer is 30~40m/s.
The impact crushers: productivity can be calculated according to the volume of the discharged materials after every round of the rotor. Suppose the length of the rotor is L, the minimum gap between the plate hammer and the impacting board is e, the reaching height of the plate hammer is h, the maximum discharging granularity is d, the number of the plate hammer is z and rotor speed is n. Then the productivity is Q=60nL(h+e)dZK, in which K=0.1 which does not consider the specific factor when the discharging is uneven. It is reported that when processing limestone, the productivity of the impact crushers is 90t/h; when processing river cobble, the productivity is 107t/h; when processing granite, the productivity is 50t/h.
