The lining of ball mill must have the advantages of high hardness, better wear resistance, no elasticity and smooth surface. Especially, the content of aluminum oxide greater than or equal to 85%, water absorption less than or equal to 0.02%, Moh’s hardness greater than or equal to 8.5. Besides, adopting isostatic molding thickness of 50mm, 60mm, or 70mm of high aluminum is better.
Choosing round ball grinding body with smooth and flat surface, no bump defects, higher proportion, and better wear resistance is better. Specification of high alumina ball with diameter of 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, bibulous rate is 0.02% or less, moh’s hardness is 8 or more is the best, both economy and economical. Besides, we should choose the pebble similar to round ball.
The loading capacity of water take up 80% of the whole effective volume, among them, the proportion of blank ,ball and water are 1, 1.8, 0.6. The proportion of glaze ,ball and water are 1, 2.1, 0.38. The proportion of slurry should control in 1.75-1.90, viscosity in 30s-60s. The reasonable proportion of grinding body is vital to the efficiency of ball mill. The big ball play the role of crush and the small ball play the role of grind. Relatively, the proportion of big ball is less when grinding blank.
Choosing different grinding way, grinding process or grinding equipment, the way to promote efficiency will also different. We should actively explore and find the most appropriated way to achieve aim.
