The Purpose and Content of Production Test in Ore Dressing Plant

The technological process of the ore beneficiation plant is a continuous production process, so there are many factors influencing the process of ore dressing. That if the quality of the raw ores and intermediate products changes or the factor in the ore dressing process fluctuates will influence the outcome of ore dressing and the final indexes, so the production test is needed.

There are two main purposes for testing the beneficiation production:

1. Measure the production effect of the ore dressing plant, do a good job in the metal balance and master the boundary of quantity and quality in the ore dressing process.

2. Check and learn whether the technical operation of each production link is in accord with the technical requirements; provide management personnel and technical personnel with weak links that exist in the production so as to timely discover and solve problems, and promote the normal production.

3. Technical inspection work plays an indispensable and important role. It is an important means to well manage the production technology, keep the balance of metal and improve the management level. Therefore, every ore dressing plant has to carry out a series of production technology testing work.

Lots of content needs to be checked in the process of ore dressing; the checking scope is slightly different according to the different selecting methods. The main contents are as follows:

1) Regularly check the raw materials that go into the factory (such as ore, reagent and other consumption materials) and the quantity and quality standard of products that leave the factory.

2) Regularly check the measuring equipment (including all kinds of belt scale, scale, balance, platform scale and so on).

3) Check the performance and working condition of main equipment.

4) Inspect and control the reagent dosage;
