The Research on New Sand Making Technology and Its Features

The present sand making technologies mainly include two types: tertiary crushing and rod mill combination sand making technology and vertical shaft impact crusher sand making technology. These two sand making methods have both advantages and disadvantages. Given this, the researchers propose the argument that users only use vertical shaft impact crusher to grind the hard rocks into sand, and through the optimization and adjustment of traditional sand making technology reasonable selection of vertical shaft crushing equipment, finally reach the goal of producing qualified sand. As for the artificial sand and stone material production system that is used for processing light and high corrosive parent rocks, the main disadvantages of only using vertical shaft impact crusher to manufacture sand lie in uneven product grading and high fineness modulus of the final sand. If the customers want to properly reduce the fineness modulus of the sand in order to satisfy the project requirement, they only need to properly reduce the average diameter of the sand. According to traditional sand making technology, the new technology makes the following adjustment: the part of coarse sands whose particle granularity ranges from 5mm to 2.5mm are recrushed through the fineness modulus adjusting cabin and the vertical shaft impact crusher rotating with high speed, thus reaching the goal of adjusting the fineness modulus and grading of the final products.
