Details that Need to be Noted when Purchasing Vibrating Screen

Vibrating screen is a vibration screening machine that is used for processing the materials that are difficult to be screened, and it is widely used in many industries such as mining, coal, metallurgy, building material, refractory, light industry, chemistry, medicine and food. When purchasing vibrating screen, the customers will choose different configurations according the specific conditions. Then what are the details that need to be noted when purchasing this machine?

(1) The advantages, disadvantages and the applicable ranges of the mesh charge plate.

Advantages: prevent the materials from being directly discharged from the edge of the screen and gather the materials to the central part, thus improving the screening precision.

Disadvantages: the weight of the upper part of the screening machine is increased, the vibration transmission force is reduced and the screening effect is weakened. If the material charge plate breaks down, the after-sales cost will be increased.

Applicable ranges: It can be used in gyratory vibrating screen with small diameter. At present, due to the limited height of the screen mesh, the material charge plate is easy to block the sliding materials.

(2) The advantages and disadvantages of using ball holding plate.

Advantages: On the holding plate, there is a bouncing ball which belongs to screen clearing device, so that it is conducive to clear the screen net and improve the screening efficiency.

Disadvantages: increase the weight of the upper part of the screen and reduce the vibration transmission force. It is determined by the screening requirement whether to equip the ball holding plate or not.

(3) The functions of the tension net.

A. Protect the fine net from being damaged by the mesh plate; the tightness of the edge of the mesh plate is intensified so that material may not leak from the edge.

B. If the wire diameter of the screen net is large, the tension net may influence the operation, for this reason, the customers can choose to not to equip one.

In order to improve the working efficiency of the vibrating screen, it is advisable for the customers to choose non-metallic screen with large screening size, large effect screening area and high aperture ratio and use suitable screen shape on the premise of satisfying the granularity requirement of the products in order to improve the going-through ability of the material particles and the working efficiency of the machine.
